TMNT Turtles Cake

I had a short notice cake this week. However, as we are very good friends and I've known birthday boy since he was born I took the order.

It was a TMNT Cake or otherwise known as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cake. Mum of birthday boy chose the first design with the Blue Turtle and what I came up is the Cake with the Red Turtle the second cake.

I certainly hope they like it!

Little Miss Sunshine Book Cake

OK here it is! My second Little Miss Sunshine Cake!

This time its just a 2d version of Little Miss!

The cake is Orange Poppy seed with white ganache.

How I created this cake? For Little Miss sunshine, simply covered the cake in yellow fondant then used black fondant to create all the outlines - hair, nose, freckles, smile..etc.

The hands I took a bit of yellow fondant and cut out the hands. The hair again used yellow fondant rolled them into balls and squished them together and for the individual strands simply used yellow fondant cut into rectangles.

The greeting 'Little Miss Sunshine' Happy 2nd Birthday Ruby. I got it edible printed so I could glue it on the white cake board.

I enjoyed creating this cake, wasn't too difficult! Hopefully little Ruby likes it too! =)

Avengers and Peppa Pig Cake

Hello friends!

Today I had two orders. One Avengers Cake and One Peppa Pig Cake.

The Avengers Cake, I made all the figurines with help from fellow cake decorators.

The cake was very very heavy, It consisted of 25cm White Mud, 20cm White Mud and 15cm Caramel, with white ganache.


The Peppa Pig Cake, the design is from an earlier Peppa Pig cake back 2 years ago for my daughter. This time it was ordered for twins!


I'm tired, but looking forward to my orders in the next few weeks - Barbie Mermaid and Litlte Miss Sunshine.
